CL Trucking: a complete freight logistics career

CL Trucking turns trucking into a real career on your server. New drivers rent a box truck at the depot and run city deliveries. As they level up they earn certifications for reefer, tanker, hazmat and heavy haul freight, buy and upgrade their own trucks, found trucking companies with a shared bank, and run convoys across San Andreas. Every step of a delivery is hands-on, every interaction is a third-eye option, and everything the driver needs is on one clean job panel.

Works on Qbox and QBCore.

How a delivery works

  1. Pick a contract. Third-eye any trucking clerk to open the dashboard. The load board shows pay, estimated profit, the deadline and a "What you need" box listing the truck type and every truck that can carry that load.
  2. Choose your truck. Accepting a contract opens a truck picker with the trucks that fit. No suitable truck? The dashboard leads new drivers straight to the depot rentals and highlights the trucks that can do the job.
  3. Check in and load. Reverse into the loading bay with a live alignment readout, then load the cargo the way that freight needs it: carry the crates by hand, or pay the dock crew and watch the workers load your trailer.
  4. Drive it like it's fragile. The server measures impacts, hard braking, harsh cornering and speeding. Careful driving costs nothing; reckless driving costs pay, and badly damaged loads are rejected.
  5. Deliver and get paid. Reverse into the receiver's bay, unload, and sign the proof of delivery. The settlement itemizes pay, bonuses, costs, XP and reputation.

Six ways to load freight

  • Dock freight: hand-carry every crate, or pay the dock crew: two workers carry boxes between a pallet stack and your doors while the foreman waits for your signature.
  • Refrigerated: start the reefer unit and record the temperature once the gauge is in range. The cargo warms up if you leave the trailer uncoupled.
  • Hazmat: walk around the trailer to check placards, valves and the emergency kit before loading.
  • Tanker: connect the loading arm and stop the fill between 92 and 99%. Overfill and you spill product.
  • Flatbeds and lowboys: the crane loads the beams, machinery or turbine blades, then you tension every tie-down. Fail the tension check and the strap rides loose.
  • Car carriers: chain down every vehicle on the deck.

Terminal trailers come pre-loaded in a bay with a pre-trip walk-around, and high-value freight is sealed with a seal number the receiver checks at delivery.

16 types of freight

  • Box truck work: city deliveries, multi-stop routes, fragile goods and urgent medical freight.
  • Tractor-trailer work: standard and long-haul freight, construction materials, refrigerated loads, fuel, hazmat, vehicle transport, heavy equipment, oversized loads with escorts, high-value cargo, special events and convoy freight.
  • Real supply and demand: contracts only run between locations that ship and receive that freight, and market demand shifts as players deliver.
  • Server-priced pay: distance, weight, urgency, risk, equipment, market demand and client tier, all calculated on the server.

Fleet ownership

  • Truck dealership: buy trucks and trailers, compare up to three trucks side by side, or finance them with repayments taken from delivery pay.
  • Depot rentals: new drivers start with a refundable deposit and a small fee per job.
  • Wear and service: every truck tracks mileage and engine, drivetrain and tire wear. Neglected trucks break down and limp at reduced speed.
  • Upgrades: real performance mods plus economy upgrades like eco kits, air-ride suspension and reefer units.
  • Insurance: pay-per-mile truck insurance and cargo insurance that covers part of the liability for rejected loads.
  • Used market: players sell trucks to each other.

Progression

  • 50 levels on a configurable XP curve, with more contract slots as drivers level up.
  • Reputation tiers: local, regional, national and elite clients unlock better rates and exclusive premium offers.
  • 7 certifications with server-graded exams unlock specialized freight.
  • 7 specializations rank from Bronze to Gold and add pay and handling perks in their categories.
  • Safety streaks lower insurance premiums, and a proven on-time record unlocks urgent freight.

Companies, convoys and AI drivers

  • Trucking companies: name, tag and brand color, owner, manager, dispatcher and driver roles, a company bank with a full audit log, a shared fleet, upgrades and leaderboards.
  • Dispatch console: dispatchers assign company contracts, message drivers, send waypoints and track every driver on a live map.
  • Convoys: up to four drivers run linked contracts with their own trailers and pay, plus a team bonus when everyone arrives together. Escorts earn a share for staying in formation.
  • AI drivers: companies hire simulated drivers to keep company trucks earning. Nothing spawns in the world.

On the road

  • One clean job panel: the current step, what to do and where, live timers, progress bars, cargo condition and the deadline. No popups.
  • GPS routing to every pickup, stop, weigh station and delivery.
  • Weigh stations for heavy and dangerous loads.
  • World events on long hauls: tire warnings, breakdowns, detours, severe weather, roadside inspections, reroutes and premium offers, each one a real choice.

For server owners

  • Admin panel (/truckadmin): live jobs, driver search, XP and reputation adjustments, certifications, company ledgers, diagnostics and a full audit log.
  • In-game config editor: about 180 settings with range checks, applied instantly without a restart.
  • In-game location editor: move clerks, bays and spawn points from inside the game. /truckcoords copies a ready-made location block.
  • Server-authoritative: pay, damage, distance, ownership and payouts are all decided by the server. Every request is validated and rate-limited, duplicate payouts are impossible, and suspicious trips are held for staff review instead of auto-punishing anyone.
  • Restart-safe: interrupted jobs are cancelled without penalty and refunded, and disconnected drivers can rejoin and continue.
  • Works with your server: owned trucks are normal player_vehicles rows, so garages, MDTs and key scripts see them. Keys are handed out automatically with qbx_vehiclekeys, qb-vehiclekeys, p_vehiclekeys, Renewed-Vehiclekeys or wasabi_carlock. Works with ox_fuel and other state-bag fuel scripts.
  • Open where it matters: the config, cargo, trucks, locations, locale, theme and framework bridge files are not encrypted, and the UI is plain HTML, CSS and JS.
  • Performance-friendly: near-zero cost when idle, and every optional system can be switched off.
  • Database tables are created automatically on first start.

Requirements

  • Framework: qbx_core or qb-core
  • ox_lib and oxmysql
  • Target: ox_target or qb-target
  • OneSync (enabled by default on txAdmin servers)

Installation

Drop the folder in your resources, add ensure CL_trucking to your server.cfg after its dependencies, and give your staff the admin ace. The database sets itself up on first start. A full step-by-step README with a configuration guide and FAQ is included.
